Dear Danforth Campus students,
I hope this finds you well and enjoying the start of the summer break. As we begin thinking ahead to the fall semester, there are some steps you need to take regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.
As you are aware from the communication you received from university leadership in April, all students are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine before returning to campus for fall.
In order to allow us enough time to prepare for any vaccination clinics that may be needed at the start of the semester, we are asking all students to provide documentation to verify that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by no later than July 15.
To provide documentation, upload an image of your COVID-19 vaccination record card in your student health portal by visiting the Habif Health and Wellness Center websiteand clicking on the link for “Log in to the student portal.”
Individuals are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after they have received the second dose in a two-dose series or a single dose from a one-dose series of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized for use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or the World Health Organization. If you have not yet received at least one dose of a one- or two-dose vaccine series, please do so as soon as possible to allow time to meet the July 15 deadline for providing documentation.
We will allow exemptions for students who are unable to receive the vaccine for religious or medical reasons. To learn more about the exemption process, visit the Immunization Exemption Policy page on the Habif website. More information about the COVID-19 vaccine is available on the COVID Vaccine Information page.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
