Dear Danforth Campus and CFU Faculty and Staff,
Please see the following message received today from the university’s Occupational Health department regarding COVID call center operations:
The COVID Call Center is experiencing overwhelming call volumes. In order to ensure that we meet our critical health care workforce needs, we are initiating the following triaging process effective immediately:
- Calls from individuals who work in clinics and hospitals AND cannot work from home will be prioritized for response
- Asymptomatic post-exposure testing will not be ordered through the call center at this time
We realize this is frustrating. If you have been exposed and are asymptomatic, we recommend you seek testing through your physician, an urgent care center, or a local pharmacy. We are very sorry for this inconvenience and will let you know as soon as we are able to return to normal operations.
